Information for parents who have children NOT in Holy Cross Catholic Primary School. There will be an information evening for parents and registration of candidates for Confirmation on Thursday 3rd October 2019 in church at 7pm.  Confirmation  - 2020 This year there will be a series of lessons from October to February immediately prior to the Confirmation itself on 27th February 2020. INSPIRATIONAL ARTWORK HEADING TO SUTTON COLDFIELD CHURCH An inspiring, life-size statue of Christ, made exclusively of nails, will soon be installed at a Sutton Coldfield church. Sorrows of Steel, by sculptor Shaun Gagg, will be a focal point for the newly-refurbished Lady Chapel of Holy Cross and St Francis Catholic Church, Walmley. The proposal for the installation has been approved by the Archdiocese of Birmingham Committee for Art and Architecture. Parish priest, Father Neil Bayliss, said: “I thought the sculpture should be in a church where Christians can see it, reflect on it and get inspiration.
