CORPUS CHRISTI PROCESSION – Weather permitting This Thursday, following Mass in Church, we will have our Procession of the Blessed Sacrament. Children, parents, parishioners and friends will process from Church to Holy Cross School. Volunteers (four) to help carry the canopy over the Blessed Sacrament will be needed on the day.
FIRST HOLY COMMUNION – This weekend, the children of our parish received the Sacrament of Holy Communion for the first time. Please pray for them and their families
that the grace of this Sacrament will fill their hearts with a true devotion to Our Lord that will last a lifetime.
CLERGY CONFERENCE – There will be no Mass here on Wednesday as all Diocesan Clergy have been summoned by Archbishop Bernard to attend a Compulsory Clergy Conference in Leamington Spa.

SUNG VESPERS – On Monday June 22nd at 6.30pm, our Oscott Seminarians will lead Sung Vespers. Mass will follow as usual at 7.00pm.
SUMMER EVENT JULY 2026 – Father Neil’s suggestion of a ‘shared lunch’ has been well received by our parishioners. The dates proposed are either July 5th or July 12th (weather permitting). Furter information will follow later.
SAINT OF THE WEEK – Saint Richard of Chichester (c1198-1253) Saint Richard was appointed as Bishop of Chichester in 1244 against the wishes of the monarch, Henry 111. He was both hard working and charitable. He is said to have dropped the chalice while celebrating Mass, which miraculously remained unspilt. In Christian art he is often depicted with a chalice at his feet. His feast is celebrated on June 16th.
